Ryan Rhodes


Ryan Rhodes grew up in the Mormon Church, fulfilled a church mission to Argentina from 1969 to 1971, and is a Brigham Young University graduate. He wrote Free Electricity to preserve the memory of those gay students who saw no choice but to submit to BYU’s electroshock aversion program and its resulting traumatic effects.
 
 Rhodes is a designer and sculptor living in Los Angeles with his partner of more than thirty years.
